Registration is on Paddle Guru. Registration will open May 15th and will close July 30th.

All open-qualifiers will receive confirmation of race entry or be refunded by August 1st. 

PRE-QUALIFIERS: Catalina Classic paddlers finishing within two hours of their respective class winner from previous year.

2026 Pre-Qualifying Time Cut Off 

• Stock Women – 8:32:00
• Stock Men – 7:57.00
• Unlimited Men – 7:15.00

OPEN QUALIFIERS: can submit up to 3 results from ANY 2026 paddleboard races for consideration.

  • South Bay Paddle – Hermosa Beach, CA
    • 15 Miles
  • Around the Cape – Cape May, New Jersey
    • 15 Miles
  • Waterman Challenge – Encinitas, CA
    • 15 miles
  • Rock 2 Rock – Catalina Island, CA
    • 22 miles
  • Paddle Laguna Beach – Laguna Beach, CA
    • 12.5 Miles
  • Molokai 2 Oahu – Molokai, HI
    • 32 Miles
  • Ocean State Crossing – Newport, Rhode Island
    • 15 Miles

*Additional races (not identified above) may be included in a race resume on the registration form. If you are an athlete unable to race, you may submit a 20k paddle for consideration. Open-Qualifiers can submit up to 3 results from 2026 paddleboard races for consideration. All results will be evaluated by the selection committee based upon course distance and race competition.  International entries will be evaluated on a case by case basis, and should email the directors in addition to completing the on-line registration.
